These grammar symbols are used with the movable alphabet to introduce the basic parts of speech when building small sentences. We used them with the movable alphabet when children became comfortable writing sentences with the movable alphabet.
Introduce the noun after your child has mastered using the movable alphabet. Next introduce articles and later adjectives. Once nouns, articles and adjectives have been mastered introduce verbs. Action verbs are the easiest to introduce.
